Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings for MoMiMa retreats.

By booking a retreat with MoMiMa you agree to the terms outlined below.

​1. About MoMiMa Retreats

MoMiMa offers wellness retreats designed for parents with babies under 12 months old. Retreat activities may include:
​

  • yoga

  • baby yoga or baby massage

  • parenting workshops

  • sensory classes

  • wellness activities

  • social meals and relaxation sessions

 
Activities are intended to support parental wellbeing and connection.
They are not a substitute for medical or psychological care.

2. Booking and Payment

A booking is confirmed once:

  1. a booking form has been completed, and

  2. payment or deposit has been received.

 
Payment terms:

  • A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your place.

  • The remaining balance must be paid before the retreat date as specified during booking.

 
Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of your place.

3. Cancellation Policy

We understand that life with a baby can be unpredictable. Our cancellation policy is designed to balance flexibility for parents while allowing us to run retreats sustainably.

 

Deposits

All retreat bookings require a non-refundable deposit to secure your place.

This allows us to confirm venue bookings and retreat arrangements.

Cancellations

​

If you need to cancel your booking:

 

More than 60 days before the retreat

  • Full refund minus the deposit.

 

30–60 days before the retreat

  • 50% refund of the total retreat price.

 

Less than 30 days before the retreat

  • No refund.

 

Transfers

​

If you can no longer attend, you may request to:

  • transfer your booking to another MoMiMa retreat

  • transfer your place to another parent

 

Transfers are subject to availability and may incur an administrative fee.

Illness (Parent or Baby)

​

If you or your baby become ill shortly before the retreat, please contact us as soon as possible.

​

While refunds may not always be possible due to venue commitments, we will do our best to offer a transfer to a future retreat where possible.

If MoMiMa Cancels

​

In the unlikely event that MoMiMa must cancel a retreat, participants will be offered:

  • a full refund, or

  • a transfer to a future retreat.

 

MoMiMa cannot cover travel or other personal expenses.

4. Health and Safety

Participants are responsible for ensuring they and their babies are medically fit to attend the retreat.

You must inform us before the retreat of:

  • relevant health conditions

  • injuries

  • allergies or dietary restrictions

  • accessibility needs

 
If you or your baby are unwell before the retreat, we ask that you contact us to discuss options.

5. Participation in Activities

Participation in retreat activities is voluntary.

Activities such as yoga, movement, or workshops should be undertaken at your own pace.

By attending the retreat you acknowledge that:

  • you participate in activities at your own risk

  • MoMiMa instructors are not providing medical advice

 
Parents remain fully responsible for the supervision and care of their baby at all times.

6. Allergies and Dietary Requirements

We will do our best to accommodate dietary requirements and allergies.

However, MoMiMa cannot guarantee that retreat environments will be completely free of specific allergens.

Participants are responsible for informing us of allergies in advance.

7. Accommodation and Venue

Retreats are hosted at third-party venues.

While we work with trusted providers, MoMiMa cannot be held responsible for:

  • issues relating to the venue or accommodation facilities

  • service disruptions outside our control

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MoMiMa will not be liable for:

  • injury, illness or loss arising from participation in retreat activities

  • personal property loss or damage

  • travel disruptions or delays

 
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by negligence

  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

9. Photography

Photographs or videos may be taken during retreats for promotional purposes.

You will always have the option to opt out if you do not wish to appear in images.

10. Behaviour

MoMiMa aims to create a supportive and respectful environment for all participants.

We reserve the right to remove participants from the retreat without refund if behaviour is disruptive or unsafe.

11. Changes to the Programme

​MoMiMa reserves the right to adjust retreat schedules, instructors or activities where necessary while maintaining a comparable experience.

 

Retreat schedules may occasionally change due to:

  • instructor availability

  • weather

  • safety considerations

 
We will always aim to provide an equivalent experience.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
